Successful Photokina for RENZ

Over 1200 exhibitors from 45 countries showed their products at Photokina in Cologne, Germany.
Chr. Renz GmbH, manufacturer of binding and laminating systems, also exhibited their solutions.
The magenta coloured RENZ logo immediately caught the eye of those visitors who came from hall 5 into hall 4.1 and attracted them to see the possibilities of the processing of photo calendars and books.
Lots of visitors took this opportunity. Especially the products of the ranges Office Line and Semi-Professional Line were very well received. These include all machines for processing smallest editions in the office environment and products for users with raised demands when processing small editions.
But many visitors also showed interest in systems of the Professional Line that includes all products for industrial processing of medium to large editions.
That is why the semiautomatic binding machine Mobi 500, that was exhibited at the RENZ booth, gained many new fans due to its level of performance and its short setup time.
„Photokina becomes more and more important to us. Those who print personalised calendars and photo books also have to bind them – ideally with our RENZ RING WIRE® comb binding. Intense interest and first subsequent orders confirmed our impression that this fair has become to an obligatory exhibition for us”, said export manager Olaf Gerber.
Actually more and more RENZ customers are in the photo business. Some big photo producers already bind their products with RENZ equipment – and the trend is rising.
But RENZ also fulfill requirements of small and medium photo stores. The RENZ calendar set for example, that was presented at Photokina, enables every user to bind simply and economically individual calendars.

Last but not least the Swabian company RENZ also benefit from the partnership with Hewlett Packard. As their “Certified Business Partner” RENZ booked the booth space directly next to the HP booth. In this way visitors could also see a co-production of wall calendars of the two companies.
Furthermore, many potentials came to the RENZ booth in the context of a seminar of HP to see the systems of paper processing with RENZ RING WIRE®.
