On September 1st 2006, Michael Schubert (39) joined RENZ in Heubach, Southern Germany, as international sales and marketing manager and as member of the management board.
Now he was appointed attorney of Chr. Renz GmbH and of Chr. Renz Verwaltungs- und Beteiligungs-GmbH. As of 1st August 2010 he has got power of attorney for sales of the entire RENZ group.

Michael Schubert was born in Aachen and grew up in Hamburg where he also passed his A-Levels. In 1994 he received his diploma for business administration at the Wirtschaftsakademie in Hamburg.
After completing his studies he moved to the USA where he worked for seven years as area sales manager for a well-known international company group of companies in the capital goods sector.
In 2001 he got the chance to establish sales and service offices for Latin America in São Paulo, Brazil. He accepted the Brazilian challenge and entered the Latin-American market for his employer and lived in São Paulo for five years. Then he left the group to work for RENZ in Heubach.
Michael Schubert is married and father of a four years old daughter. He loves travelling and is a proud owner of model railways. He likes best to devote his limited leisure time to his family.

Chief financial officer, Hans-Juergen Hofbauer, celebrated his 25 years company anniversary in February this year. Since 22nd October 1996 he has been attorney of Chr. Renz GmbH. His power of attorney was lately enlarged and covers now Chr. Renz Verwaltungs- und Beteilgungs-GmbH, too.

Chr. Renz GmbH is a family-run company in third generation with headquarters in Heubach, Southern Germany. The product portfolio of RENZ contains punching, binding and laminating systems – from small office desk top machines to fully automated high-tech punching and binding lines- as well as a wide range of consumables like RENZ RING WIRE® wire comb binding, spirals, plastic combs and further binding accessories.
With global subsidiaries RENZ serve markets in USA, Great Britain, Brazil, Czech Republic, France, Argentina, Australia, Turkey and Italy.
Currently in Heubach work approx. 200 employees, about 10 percent of them are apprentices. Promotion of new blood within the company has top priority. Worldwide RENZ employs about 350 people.
