New, space saving packing „face to face“ for RENZ RING WIRE® cut wire comb binding elements

Since August 2010 the type of packing of cut wire comb binding elements RENZ RING WIRE® has been changed to the space saving packing technique „face to face“.
Wire comb binding is a product that needs an optimum packing to assure a failure free binding. With the patented WIRE PACK® system RENZ deliver binding elements in most diameters on a safe transport packing system: the single RENZ RING WIRE® cut elements are fixed on a cardboard sheet. Prevents the binding elements getting tangled and stuck, avoiding any deformation by pulling them apart again.
Until now the WIRE PACK® cardboard sheets were stacked on top of each other into the packing so that the side where the wire comb is fixed faced upwards.
Now the WIRE PACKS are stacked opposite each other into the packing. Meaning, the binding elements “face each other”, hence the term “face to face” packing.
Due to this new packing technique the space between the WIRE PACKS is reduced. In this way the packing volume can be reduced – depending on the diameter – by up to 45%.
With this innovation RENZ wants to offer additional benefits to their customers. The lower packing results on the one hand in lower storage space. On the other hand customers save freight costs when they buy higher quantities because more packages fit into the shipping boxes.
RENZ has also used the opportunity of this innovation to redesign the packing: The imprint in the colours black, grey and magenta was adjusted to the Corporate Design and the graphics were optimised. Furthermore the customer will find important additional information regarding product details printed on the packing.
The packing of RENZ RING WIRE® cut wire comb binding elements is made purposely of brown recycled cardboard to emphasise the principle of sustainability that RENZ claim for themselves.
