Bangalore Baptist Hospital, one of south India’s leading multi specialty mission hospitals, is all set to inaugurate its State- of- the- Art REPRODUCTIVE MEDICINE (IVF) UNIT on 14th January 2012 at its premises in Hebbal.
The Reproductive Medicine Unit (RMU) at Bangalore Baptist Hospital provides comprehensive infertility care, which is rare to find even in medical colleges and Government hospitals. The RMU& IVF Unit provides ISO standard laboratory quality. This is for the first time affordable IVF will make its presence felt in the country.
Dr. K.K.Talwar, Chairman of the Medical Council of India will inaugurate the IVF Unit in the presence of Sri. S.V.Ranganath, Chief Secretary, Govt. of Karnataka and Dr. Suranjan Bhattacharji, Chairman-Governing Board of Baptist Hospital.

The RMU at Baptist Hospital consists of a dedicated team of Doctors, Embryologists and Nurses. Dr. George Korula, Professor and Head of the Department of Reproductive Medicine & IVF Unit at the Bangalore Baptist was formerly head of the reproductive medicine department at the highly reputed Christian Medical College, Vellore. He brings with him a rich experience of over three decades in this field.He has published numerous papers in National & International Journals and has established effective techniques in this specialty.

Bangalore Baptist Hospital pledges to offer State- of- the- Art facilities in a compassionate, supportive and ethical environment. Maintaining a firm code of conduct with regard to patient care and consent, Baptist hospital will provide a holistic and humane approach, focusing on evidence based medicine.

The hospital also successfully operates a CT scan centre with a multislice scanner for whole body examination with 3-D post-processing.
