Republic Day Celebrations held at SISTec Ratibad

Sagar Institute of Science Technology & Research (SISTec-R) witnessed the celebration of the 72nd Republic Day. Students, Staff, and Faculty Members filled with a feeling of patriotism, dedication, and love for the nation gathered in "Celebrations" - The Assembly Hall.

The event hosted by Prof. Dhiraj Kumar Singh started with his welcoming words followed by hoisting of the National Flag by the Principal Dr. Jyoti Deshmukh and singing National Anthem. Present with her during the hoisting were Mr. Akshat Shukla (Manager Admissions), Mr. Mahesh Dwivedi (Manager HR & Administration), Mr. Arun Verma (Sports Officer), Prof. Ajit Kumar Shrivastava (Head of Computer Science & Engineering Department), Prof. Harvinder Singh Saluja (Head of Electronics & Communication Engineering Department), and Prof. Kshitij Yugbodh (Head of Mechanical Engineering Department).

In her speech, the Principal highlighted the purpose of Republic Day and the importance of democracy. Further as an educational institution, she stressed the contributions that the college shall give to the Nation and talked about the adoption of the New Education Policy as the base for all future academic and non-academic activities.

Prof. Ajit Kumar Shrivastava also addressed the audience on the importance of the Constitution and its unique features such as Sovereign, Socialist, Secular, Democratic, and Republic enshrined in the preamble of the constitution

The address was followed by musical performances and recitation of poems from Prof. Kshitij Yugbodh, Mr. Mahesh Dwivedi, Prof. Pankaj Kumar Sharma, Prof. Dharmendra Narayan Jha, Prof. Namrata Shrivastava, Mr. Rishi Tiwari, and Ms. Anjali Mishra from CSE 1st Year.

The program ended with a Vote of Thanks from Prof. Kshitij Yugbodh followed by refreshments for all the guests.
