Solea AG - Commencement of Construction for a 1.3 MWp Solar Park in Neuburg am Inn (Southern Bavaria)
The Project in Neuburg am Inn is the starting point of a series of Projects between Solea AG and the CHORUS Group. The ground breaking ceremony was attended by the management of both companies and the mayor of Neuburg am Inn.
The investor and operator CHORUS CleanTech Solar GmbH & Co. 2. KG is registered by the Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht (BaFin), the German supervisory authority for financial service.
The mayor of Neuburg am Inn attended the ground-breaking ceremony, along with members of the management of CHORUS and Solea AG. Solea AG acts as the general contractor.
The project in Neuburg am Inn is the first in a series of projects with a combined power of more than 15 MWp to be jointly undertaken by CHORUS and Solea AG.
The green energy power plant will cover an area of 3.6 hectares and has a capacity of 1.3 MWp. It will incorporate 7,600 mono-crystalline Solea SM 175 modules. The fixed mounting structure is manufactured by PV-EIWA Systemtechnik GmbH & Co. KG, a sister company of Solea AG. The DKB Bank Berlin in Cooperation with the Sparkasse Deggendorf provides CHORUS CleanTech Solar GmbH & Co. 2. KG with senior debt financing.
The photovoltaic power plant will avoid the release of 1,380 tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere every year and the electricity produced equals the average electricity consumption of nearly 350 four-person households. The facility will deliver approximately 1.400 Megawatt hours of clean energy yearly to the grid, operated by E.ON Bayern AG.
