Michigan Adds to the List of Qualifying Medical Marijuana Conditions
The Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) recently added eleven more conditions that qualify for medical marijuana prescriptions. Those are as follows:
Arthritis;
Autism;
Chronic pain;
Colitis;
Inflammatory Bowel Disease;
Obsessive-compulsive disorder;
Parkinson’s;
Rheumatoid arthritis’
Spinal cord injury;
Tourette’s syndrome;
Ulcerative colitis.
These new conditions are now added to the existing conditions which qualify Michigan residents for a medical marijuana program registry card and are as follows:
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder;
Cancer;
Glaucoma;
Positive status for Human Immunodeficiency Virus;
Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome;
