SEQUENCE KICKS OFF BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH BY SUPPORTING

Chattanooga, Tenn. - Sequence Health kicked off Breast Cancer Awareness month early this year by supporting our own Kris Altiere and TeamEdith in the September 25th IRONMAN Chattanooga triathlon as she raised money for the Edith Sanford Breast Foundation.

Sequence Health employees proudly supported Kris’s second TeamEdith breast cancer awareness event with financial donations, well wishes, and encouragement throughout the 9 months she dedicated to training for her first full IRONMAN. Much like Sequence Health, the Edith Sanford Breast Center is dedicated to pioneering a smart, innovative approach to reaching optimal outcomes, making the partnership for Kris that much more rewarding. “As a survivor of a rare type of Breast Cancer myself, I want to do everything I can to support the genetic research the Edith Sanford Foundation is raising money to fund. Every donation will help to find other genetic causes for this disease, which will in turn help find better treatment options and hopefully a cure,” explained Kris.

As a member of TeamEdith, 100% of every dollar Kris raised was invested directly into cutting-edge genomics research to help speed the way to the cures for breast cancer. The Edith Sanford Breast Foundation is dedicated to conducting groundbreaking research to find cures – faster – by unlocking each woman’s genetic code to advance prevention and treatment today and end breast cancer for future generations.

Celebrate Kris’s accomplishments, leave her an encouraging message, and help us continue to support TeamEdith with your donation to the Edith Sanford Breast Cancer Foundation during breast cancer awareness month.
