Out of the Ordinary BITSians Share their passion at BGM 2023 Jaipur

What Kumbh Mela is to millions of Indians, the BITSAA Global Meet BGM is to lakhs of BITSians alumni of the Institution of Eminence Birla Institute of Technology and Science are - BITS campuses at Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad, and Dubai apart from the seamless Work Integrated Learning Programs. BGM is the largest peaceful congregation of BITSians on earth, during which they unwind and rewind. While millions of devotees reach the Kumbh venue without any invitation, BITSians reach the venue after prescribed registration formalities. For the year 2023, the organizing team from BITSAA Jaipur announced that BGM will be held at Jaipur during Jan 6 - 8 2023.

The event had a grand inauguration on the morning of 6th January 2023, which was graced by the Hon'ble Governor of West Bengal Dr. CV Ananda Bose, and Shri Gulab Kothari, Chief Editor of Rajasthan Patrika. One of the most looked forward events in this BGM is "Zara Hat Ke". There was a stellar constellation of Out f the ordinary BITSians which included Mr. A K Sritanth (Film-Making), Mr. Subhashish Roy (Travel Blogger & Entrepreneur), Mr. Sandeep Verma (Film Director & Writer), Mr. Anupam Maurya (Ace Photographer), Ms. Salini Vineeth (Fiction & Freelance Writer), Ms. Bhakti Khakkar (Mountaineer), Mr. Naman Munot (CloudFile Expert).

Each one of them described their chosen path as a mission with passion and justified the 'Road not Taken' by others. They shared the joy of pursuing the same, the hurdles they faced, and the support they got, and urged more BITSians to opt for chasing their dream mission and the Road not Taken.

BGM Organisers presented a glittering memento to each of the speakers. The audience gave thunderous applause to cheer up each speaker.

About BITSAA Jaipur: The aim of the BITS Pilani Alumni Association, BITSAA Jaipur Chapter is to stay connected with all the BITSian Alumni from Jaipur & nearby cities which include Ajmer, Kota, Bhilwara Udaipur, Jodhpur and Bikaner. The idea of establishing Birla Institute of Technology and Science Alumni Association BITSAA Jaipur Chapter was conceived in 1995 and was constituted on 04 May 1996. A regular gathering of BITS alumni at Jaipur takes place every year several times which includes BITSian Day, Diwali Milan, and Holi Milan.
