High-Performance 6G RAID Enclosures for 4K Video Storage

The EliteSTOR ES316X6+BHP is a 16-hard drive bay direct attached storage (DAS) array that comes bundled with a high-performance PCI-E RAID card, dual high-speed 6Gb/s SAS interface, enterprise level reliability through redundant & hot-swappable components, and storage expansion capabilities allowing for additional five ES316X6+B SAS Expanders daisy-chained together. The EliteSTOR 6Gb/s SAS enclosure is the ideal solution for post-production professionals working with HD, as well as for IT professionals looking for a fast, reliable, and expandable storage solution.

The bundled ARC1882X is a high performance PCI-Express RAID controller with a Dual Core RAID-on-Chip 800MHz chipset and 1GB DDR3 memory. This proven combination offers ultra fast performance while providing RAID protection against drive failure and efficient operation without disruption or major drops in performance. The EliteSTOR ES316X6+BHP will allow users to store large high resolution 2K/4K media with sustained data rates of up to 1600 MB/s in RAID 5, and over 3000MB/s in dual RAID-5, OS RAID-0 setups (2x ES316X6+BHP w/ two volumes striped in RAID-0). The ES316X6+BHP is a perfect choice for creative professionals looking to work with multiple streams of uncompressed HD video with enough bandwidth to support 4K video streams. The ES316X6+BHP is also a great solution for IT administrators looking for an ultra fast and expandable enclosure of both small and large data.
