Holly Harvey joins the Global Lingo team in Singapore as Business Development Manager. Her remit is to help businesses in the city state make the most of their international trade by using Global Lingo’s translation, interpreting and transcription services.

Global Lingo is committed to making Singapore their Asian hub for language services. The city state is perfect for the company because of its history as a centre for international trade. This is why Global Lingo is investing heavily in Singapore; recruiting Holly is the just the beginning of their expansion plans.

Holly said “I have worked in international trade for most of my career, initially for the UK India Business Council in London and then in Mumbai working with UK based companies looking to expand their businesses in India. My experience means that I know firsthand the opportunities international trade can bring and how vital language services are to ensuring global business success.”

Holly joins the company to help both Singaporean companies and organisations operating from the country make the most of their international trade by using the correct languages to communicate their products and services to the world.
Global Lingo offers translation and interpreting services into over 140 languages as well as transcription services which are vital to corporate governance, annual general meetings, press conferences and HR meetings.

The company counts three of the world’s largest Oil and Gas companies, two of the world’s leading banks as well as several serving Prime Ministers among its impressive client portfolio.

Global Lingo is a specialist translation, interpreting, and transcription company which provides a wide range of businesses and public organisations with professional translation and interpreting services, as well as accurate transcribed records of their meetings and events.

The Singapore office opened in May 2011 and now has five full-time members of staff. Global Lingo was founded in the UK and has offices in London and Leeds.
