Paragon Introduces 120 Volt Crucible Furnace for Glass Blowers

Paragon Industries, the kiln factory in Mesquite, Texas, has just introduced the Darby Dipper crucible furnace. It is designed for glass blowers who need a small, 120 volt kiln for making custom glass colors, blown vessels, and neon tubing. The kiln can also be ordered in 240 volts and for international electrical systems. The Darby Dipper is made from 3” insulating firebricks and has extra ceramic fiber insulation in the walls.

The new Paragon Ovation-1013 digital glass fusing and slumping kiln is designed to fire rapidly. The 6.4 cubic foot oval kiln loads from the top. It is 13” deep to accommodate glass slumping molds. Paragon Industries has just introduced the Xpress-KM series knife making furnaces, which are made in Mesquite, Texas. The new Xpress-KM furnaces are equipped with the Sentry Xpress 3-key digital controller. Paragon’s current KM-series, which they began manufacturing in 1986, come with the Sentry 12-key controller.
