MeisterTask for Android

MeisterTask for Android

MeisterTask, the collaborative online task manager from MeisterLabs, the makers of MindMeister, today announced the release and immediate availability of its new native Android app, replacing the web-based version previously available on the Google Play store.

As a native app, MeisterTask for Android offers a number of distinct benefits for users, first and foremost offline support, which enables team members to access their projects and update tasks even without an internet connection. As soon as connection is restored, data is automatically synced between the app and MeisterTask’s web-version.

MeisterTask for Android supports real-time communication between team members and allows them to manage tasks while on the go, using their smartphones and tablets. The app sports the elegant and intuitive user interface MeisterTask is popular for, ensuring maximum efficiency and an extraordinarily enjoyable user experience.

The app offers all essential features users know from MeisterTask's popular online version and iOS app, while a small number of advanced features, such as task relationships, will be added within upcoming releases. Essential features include:

- Notifications from team members
- Trending tasks widget
- Overview of all tasks assigned to the user
- Kanban-style project boards with customizable sections
- Task dialogs with space for all task-relevant information
- And more

The new MeisterTask for Android app can now be downloaded for free from the Google Play store and can be used either to complement the web and desktop apps or as a stand-alone app. Teams and individuals are able to upgrade to MeisterTask’s Pro plan within the app to gain access to business and admin features such as the recently launched Statistics & Reports area, which is accessible via the web application.
