Johannessburg, Gauteng, South Africa, 17 February 2021 – Frenchie Africa has announced the initiation of their website and Social Media channels to the public.
Frenchie Africa will follow the journey of two French Bulldogs, Bakari and Jamani as they grow up in Africa.
From their homebase, a small but cozy, custom-built log cabin in South Africa, Frenchie Africa will chronicle the lives of Bakari and Jamani and their owners Ross and Karen as they embark on a compelling, uniquely African adventure.
Frenchie Africa is an initiative that aims to not only provide entertainment to a global audience of French Bulldog lovers, but also to raise awareness about the specific characteristics, needs and concerns specific to the breed.
“As part of their journey, Ross & Karen will research, interview, and discuss all things Frenchie related – consulting with reputable Frenchie experts, top veterinarians, and many Frenchie parents to raise awareness of the extensive and serious welfare concerns associated with these and other brachycephalic (flat-faced) breeds. This, in light of the fact that many new owners aren’t even aware of the immense responsibility associated with these breeds. The initiative will also strive to create awareness about Africa, it’s Wildlife and the unique challenges faced in the preservation of the continent’s delicate and threatened macro ecosystem from an informed point of view driven by the expert opinion and decades of experience of Ross, Karen, the crew and various experts they will encounter on their journey.
This journey will include chronicling the daily lives of Bakari and Jamani as they grow up in Africa, from puppies at their home base “Jabulani” in the African bush to their adventures further afield including wildlife interactions, visits to iconic African landmarks and much more.
