The markilux 970 is an awning for purists who love clean, angular shapes. Every detail of this awning, which emulates and emphasises the architectural simplicity of modern, urban structures, is well thought through. Its design has already won three awards and is now available with a second awning feature which can also be lowered.
When a product hits the spot when introduced into the market, the manufacturer is delighted, and in the best case scenario he endeavours to provide further extras with his product. This is the case where the markilux 970 cassette awning is concerned. According to the manufacturer, the model has a timeless design, perfectly thought through from start to finish. Simple and angular, it gels perfectly with current furnishing styles. From this year, this solar protection awning is available with a further function, the Shadeplus. This is an additional awning which can be lowered by up to 170 centimetres from the front profile.
In this way, the awning within an awning creates a comfortable “free space”, in which you can enjoy your summer at home. Glaring light and heat stay outside. And in the evenings, the residual warmth of the day stays a little longer under the awning cover. The cassette and the front profile, into which the rolled-up Shadeplus cloth disappears completely, still retain their slim shape. Other options such as a personalised front panel, available in any one of six accentuated colours, and swivelling LED spotlights providing light which gives a lovely atmosphere in the evenings, can also be integrated into the awning.
In addition to a tilt device, which angles the powder-coated awning forward as it extends to allow rainwater to flow off, there are many more well-designed technical details – for example, robust bionic tendons made of special high-tech fibres which give the folding arms greater power and the Shadeplus feature and these mean that the markilux 970 can now provide even more convenience.
