THOMAS VAN RIJCKEVORSEL APPOINTED TO EUREKO EXECUTIVE BOARD

Zeist, 14 March 2008 - The Supervisory Board of Eureko has decided to appoint Mr. T.C.A.M. (Thomas) van Rijckevorsel to the Executive Board of Eureko effective 1 April 2008. He is currently a member of the Rabobank Private Clients Directorate.

Van Rijckevorsel (53) joined ABN AMRO after graduating with a law degree from Leiden University. He then transferred to Rabobank in 1991. From 1994 his responsibilities were extended to include International Private Banking. Van Rijckevorsel has served as Head of the Private Clients Directorate since 2006. His responsibilities in this role include overseeing Rabobank´s bancassurance activities and the joint insurance activities of Rabobank and Eureko/Achmea (including Interpolis).

Eureko CEO Maarten Dijkshoorn commented with regard to the appointment: ´Thomas van Rijckevorsel has a substantial track record in financial services and broad experience in managing commercial organisations that target both private individuals and companies. I expect him to make a strong contribution to further expanding the synergy benefits within the partnership between Eureko and Rabobank.´

Six-person Board
The Eureko Executive Board has consisted of five members since the retirement of Executive Board member Ernst Jansen on 1 October 2007. The appointment of Van Rijckevorsel means that Eureko will once again have a six-person Executive Board as of 1 April 2008. The other members are Maarten Dijkshoorn (Chairman and CEO), Huub Hannen (Vice Chairman), Gerard van Olphen, Willem van Duin and Roel Wijmenga (CFO).

Eureko B.V. today announced that Ernst Jansen (59), Vice Chairman of the Executive Board, will take up retirement as of 1 October 2007.
