The Damabiah Foundation teams are actively addressing the needs of people displaced across various regions due to gang violence in Haiti. The foundation has committed to supporting 3,253 displaced families by providing essential resources. These resources include psychosocial support, food baskets, clean water, mattresses, beds, hygiene/sanitation kits, and childcare kits.

In light of this dire situation, the leadership of the Damabiah Foundation is mobilizing efforts to collect donations. Appeals are being made to the private sector and international donors to contribute towards this cause. Their support is crucial for delivering the necessary aid to the affected populations. Recent reports by the UN have highlighted nearly five million Haitians facing hunger and food insecurity, exacerbated by gang violence and related insecurities.

The Damabiah Foundation expressed profound gratitude to Thed David Désir, Director of Control and Verification of Companies at the Office National d'Assurance Viellesse (ONA). His generous donation of food for orphans, disadvantaged children, and medicine for the foundation's clinics has been vital. The foundation's Director of Operations, Waner Jerome, emphasized the significance of Désir's continued support over the past eight years.
