Mascot parade and tombola as special highlights

Wolfsburg, 25.04.2024 - On Saturday, 4 May 2024, Wolfsburg Wirtschaft und Marketing GmbH (WMG) is organizing the seventh Kunterbunten Kindersamstag in Wolfsburg city centre. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., there will be a colorful program of games and entertainment for children of all ages.

"Following the positive feedback from previous editions, we are once again bringing fun and games for the whole family to the pedestrian zone this year with the Kunterbunten Kindersamstag and providing an opportunity for an eventful visit to Wolfsburg city center," promises Frank Hitzschke, Head of City Management at WMG. "Special thanks go to our partners, such as Neuland, Sparkasse Celle-Gifhorn-Wolfsburg, Thieme and many others, without whom the event would not be possible in this form."

Guests can look forward to numerous free activities to try out and take part in, such as a bungee run, bouncy castles, giant building blocks, a roller slide, a climbing tower and face painting. Children can test their agility and speed on the 20-meter obstacle course with a giant slide. New this year is the mobile high ropes course. A special highlight is the mascot parade: Mario and Luigi, Anna, Elsa and Olaf and many more will not only delight their little fans on stage, but can also be admired up close as a walk act. Photo opportunities with visitors, a race and dance competition followed by an award ceremony are further highlights for the whole family. In addition to a Nintendo Switch as the main prize, there are many other attractive prizes such as a Puky balance bike or free tickets for various leisure facilities to be won in the charity raffle. A ticket costs two euros. The proceeds from the raffle will go to the Kinder- und Jugendschutz Wolfsburg e. V. charity. Various catering stands will be available for your physical well-being.
