Multi – NIBP Tester and Simulator for the use in various medical testing applications

GOSSEN METRAWATT, supplier of test and measurement, introduces the SECULIFE BPPRO, a new universal simulator tester for patient monitors, blood pressure cuffs and ECG recorder.

Despite its small size this complete Multiparameter Simulator makes no compromises when it comes to the availability of accurate parameters. The ability to provide offsets for various NIBP manufacturers, is a particular feature. The graphic display allows you not only to see what happens digitally, but also provides a graphical representation of the total pressure or a BP waveform. The All-in-one simulator SECULIFE BPPRO combines the functionalities of an ECG simulator and a NIBP tester. In the device the following vital signs have been merged ; NIBP, SpO2, Respiration, ECG, cardiac output (optional), temperature and IBP.

All parameters can be displayed and changed quickly and easily via the existing display. The ECG simulator provides physiologically synchronized pulses. NSR-pulses, arrythmias as well as Fetal ECG (option) are available for the control and testing of patient monitors. The special, universal ECG connections for 2-4mm plug, push button or clips enable easy adaptation of different devices. The SECULIFE BPPRO has patient connections for the 12-channel simulation of ECG waveforms and Arrytmien (RA, LL, LA, RL, V1-6).

The internal patient preferences can be selected. Furthermore automatic sequences are available allowing easy test procedure. The NIBP function of the SECULIFE BPPRO simulates the time matching backpressure in order to have the base data for systole, diastole and MAD. The optional simulation of cardiac output is realized by an adjustment of the injectate and blood temperature. The change in blood temperature can be calculated by a patient monitor to get the value of cardiac output.
