In a bid to conserve and expand the largest Sequoia Tree Grove in Southern California, the Hamerly Grove project, in collaboration with the California Climate Exchange (CCEX), has taken a pilot step towards afforestation and carbon sequestration. Spanning across 20 acres in the Palomar Mountain area of San Diego, the Hamerly Grove property is now a thriving habitat for the iconic Giant Sequoia Trees.

Giant Sequoia Trees (Sequoiadendron giganteum) are renowned for their colossal size, longevity, and exceptional carbon sequestration capabilities. With their growth rate of 2 feet per year, these towering giants serve in the fight against climate change.
