NORCROSS, GEORGIA, USA / NUREMBERG GERMANY – American Megatrends, Inc. (AMI) a global leader in BIOS, remote management and network data storage solutions, joins Embedded World 2014 from Tuesday, February 25 to Thursday, February 27, 2014 in Nuremberg, Germany.

The Embedded World Exhibition & Conference is the world's biggest exhibition of its kind and is a key meeting place of the international embedded community, shaping the character of the embedded world by showcasing the full range of embedded technologies in hardware, software, tools and development services.

AMI will be located in Hall 2, Booth 110 of the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg, hosted by Fujitsu, to showcase the partnership and collaboration between the two companies. The long history of engagement, support and success between AMI and Fujitsu was deepened in 2009 with the establishment of a Technical Partnership covering a diverse portfolio of products and solutions, including Aptio® UEFI BIOS, MegaRAC® IPMI Firmware and the MegaRAC® XMS Management Framework from AMI, supporting server, PC and industrial PC solutions from Fujitsu.

A key aspect of the collaboration between AMI and Fujitsu centers on the MegaRAC XMS Management Framework, which provides customizable 360° management of networked devices from hardware to application level. To highlight this collaboration, AMI's exhibit will display MegaRAC XMS management solutions tailored specifically for Fujitsu embedded systems.

Another highlight of AMI’s participation at Embedded World 2014 will be daily presentations from AMI CEO and President Mr. Subramonian Shankar to members of the press and analyst community. Mr. Shankar will provide his insights on a number of topics including AMI’s perspective on embedded market conditions, the outlook on the AMI-Fujitsu partnership for embedded solutions, and recent developments in key AMI products including Aptio V multi-platform BIOS development, additions to the MegaRAC XMS Management Suite, and the DuOS™ Android™-Windows® Dual OS Environment for embedded platforms.
