Clear Choice Dermatology Announces Grand Opening of Salem Clinic

Salem, OR., January 21th, 2022 – Clear Choice Dermatology will be opening its doors for the first time on January 18th, 2022. The public is invited to celebrate the occasion on Friday, February 4th, 2022. The event will start at 1PM PST at 1610 E 12th St. SE Salem.
The Grand Opening will be a family-friendly event with free raffles for concert tickets, Botox injections, and other great prizes. Enjoy warm drinks, food, and free product samples. Our physician assistants Taylor Pottratz PA-C and Mark Davis PA-C, will also be offering free skin cancer screenings and cosmetic consults for all new patients.

Clear Choice Dermatology is a dermatology clinic that offers general, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology, including Mohs surgery. The physician, Dr. Collin Blattner, D.O., is a double board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of skincare using the Mohs procedure.

About Dr. Collin M. Blattner, D.O. – Dr Collin M. Blattner is a double board-certified dermatologist and fellowship trained Mohs Micrographic Skin Cancer Surgeon. Dr. Blattner has a passion for surgical, pediatric, and medical dermatology. He has authored over 50 peer reviewed publications in highly regarded journals. He has also written six dermatology textbook chapters and serves as a reviewer for the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. He also serves on the editorial board of the International Journal of Women's Dermatology and has completed numerous lectures and professional presentations at the national level. He is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatopathology, Women’s Dermatology Society, and the Medical Dermatology Society. He also serves as Dermatology Faculty for the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners and teaches part of the Dermatology Course at Western University of Health Sciences in Lebanon, Oregon. He has had the opportunity to work with and learn from many leaders in the field of dermatology and enjoys all the daily challenges of dermatology.

About Mark Davis PA-C–Mark Davis brings 17 years of clinical and surgical experience to his work with patients. He graduated at the top of his class from the Rutgers University Physician Assistant program, and before that with honors with a dual major in Biology and Anthropology from Western Washington University. Raised in a small town in the Columbia River Gorge, Mark thrives on serving and getting to know patients from our diverse northwest community. He prides himself on offering the highest quality care and takes great satisfaction in addressing patients’ skin issues. Mark is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, and has completed the Diplomate Fellowship with the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

About Taylor Pottratz PA-C– Taylor Pottratz is a nationally board-certified physician assistant, and brings multiple years of dermatology experience with her to Clear Choice Dermatology. Taylor worked in a dermatology practice in Portland, OR prior to completing her PA
education. After her clinical year, she completed an extended elective in dermatology in Portland, OR. She loves all aspects of medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Taylor’s goal is to ensure that her patients leave their visits with their questions addressed and feeling knowledgeable about their skin conditions. She is compassionate and committed to providing optimal quality of care and creating individual treatment plans for her patients to best suit their dermatological needs. She is excited to have the opportunity to positively impact the health of her patients. Taylor is an active member of several dermatology societies.
