Flexibility thanks to dicomPACS®MobileView: Mobile freedom

A web-based viewer with all the important functions for mobile image viewing – that’s dicomPACS®MobileView. The mobile viewer offers physicians and nursing care staff mobile freedom not only when working in a clinic or practice but anywhere and anytime, operating on platform-independent viewing. It is designed both for mobile terminals like the iPad as well as for network PCs. Mobile use is as intuitive as using an app.

Browser-independent image viewing
No matter whether you use Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome: dicomPACS®MobileView works independently of the browser. Modern streaming technology guarantees fast uploading of images. Mobile devices even include generally established image viewing functions: images can be compared by selecting different grids and brightness is adjustable. Enlarging or reducing images as well as rotating and mirroring is easy. Scrolling through image series and cineloop in multiframe series and CT/MRT is also possible. Thanks to user-friendly multi-touch operation, functions can be accessed quickly.

“With dicomPACS®MobileView OR Technology is in synch with the user behaviour of doctors with regard to mobile terminals” , says Bernd Oehm who has been the company’s Managing Director since its inception twenty years ago. “Mobile connection to dicomPACS® provides doctors with more mobility and faster communication.”

Worldwide mobility
Direct access to the dicomPACS® database guarantees smooth integration. A network connection allows worldwide access to all images, for instance providing a mobile terminal with VPN access via the Internet to the central dicomPACS® system in the practice or the clinic.
Licencing is effected via a simultaneous user licencing model which means that there is a fixed number of users who can log in simultaneously. In principle, dicomPACS®MobileView may be used by any number of users that are registered by name, thus guaranteeing a broad user range coupled with uncomplicated administration.

Optimal image management with dicomPACS®
dicomPACS® encompasses the acquisition, processing, communication and archiving of image material. All types of images (X-rays, CT, MRI, digital camera, ultrasound) as well as all kinds of documents (doctors' letters, diagnoses, recovery processes, faxes) can be acquired, diagnosed and then filed in the digital patient file only one mouse click away. dicomPACS® masters simple image processing requirements as competently as it does those of complex radiological networks. Thanks to its modular design, a dicomPACS® network can grow as needed.
