NEW YORK CITY, NY - Dr. Phillip E. Romero is a family psychiatrist in New York City as well as an artist. In his new book, Global Village Burnout, he presents his viewpoint that society is at a tipping point in history. As a society we are being bombarded with cultural stressors that include the COVID pandemic, technological evolution, political gridlock, mass shootings, as well as many others. Dr. Phillip E. Romero, MD is an award-winning writer and artist. He attended the University of Texas Medical Branch and spent three months at the Tibetan Medical Center in Dharamsala, India where he met with the Dalai Lama. He has exhibited his art in galleries and international exhibitions.
