Press release from: Phillip E. Romero, MD

NEW YORK CITY, NY - Dr. Phillip E. Romero is a family psychiatrist in New York City as well as an artist. In his new book, Global Village Burnout, he presents his viewpoint that society is at a tipping point in history. As a society we are being bombarded with cultural stressors that include the COVID pandemic, technological evolution, political gridlock, mass shootings, as well as many others. This collection of essays, written during the first 18 months of the pandemic, detail his observations and how he feels that Creative Intelligence may offer a solution to the rising threats against human civilization.

Global Village Burnout is a book that anyone looking for answers will appreciate. As we are a single person in the Global Village, we see how society is breaking down and want to understand ways that we can help bring it back together. Dr. Romero details how Creative Intelligence can be used to make that happen along with incorporating mindfulness into our daily lives. Global Village Burnout is a peak into the mind of an artist, a doctor, and an aware citizen of the Global Village.

Dr. Romero writes, “Acceptance of our shared biology, genes, and emotional need for security shall pave the way toward a shared narrative of survival and sustainability.” By practicing individual mindfulness we can all come together in a Global Mind, which will enhance the world that we live in.

Global Village Burnout can be purchased on Amazon in paperback or Kindle version. The Kindle version is free for those that are subscribed to KindleUnlimited.
