Crocon sells the 100th Integrated Bridge in Croatia

Crocon sells the 100th Integrated Bridge in Croatia

In an official ceremony at SMM 2012, Raytheon Anschütz has honored their Croatian representative Crocon d.o.o. for the 100th Integrated Bridge System sold.

The 100th jubilee contract was made about the delivery of an Integrated Bridge System for the second newbuild of a Heavy Lift Carrier for Dutch company Jumbo Shipping at Brodosplit shipyard in Split. The IBS will be of the new Synapsis Bridge Control series and in compliance with IMO’s new Performance Standards for Integrated Navigation Systems.

This jubilee is a highlight in the long-term partnership Raytheon Anschütz has with Crocon. In this partnership, Raytheon Anschütz not only benefits from Crocon’s high level of technical expertise and their ability to encapsulate even complex technical facts, circumstances and customer requirements, but also from their valuable feedback when working on customer-oriented navigation solutions.

Crocon has its roots in the marine business as an agency and representative of world leading suppliers and manufacturers on the Croatian market. The company was established as a family enterprise on March 1, 1993 by Bruno Posic, who has already been deeply involved with nautical ship equipment in general and especially Anschütz equipment while doing several technical works for shipyards. With this background, Bruno Posic has administered Crocon with an excellent technological knowledge and outstanding commitment to a forerunner in providing customers with technical expertise and customer-oriented solutions, a capability Crocon still stands for.

In December 2001, Bruno Posic has handed over Crocon as a sound enterprise to his daughter Linda Posic-Borovac who now manages the company together with her husband Denis Borovac. Both have learned the company from the bottom up and brought in the knowledge and passion needed to further enhance Crocon’s competences in particular in the area of integrated systems. Having sold the first Synapsis INS ever, Crocon has once again proven its capability to successfully implement groundbreaking technologies.
