Informative and clearly structured: cynora welcomes its online visitors with a new web site.

Informative, clearly structured and adapted to user needs – cynora’s redesigned website opens a new window on the company and its products. Through its research and development activities in the area of organic electronics, the Karlsruhe-based high-tech firm is helping to pave the way towards a bright future – and invites visitors to join in on its new website.

Karlsruhe – cynora’s new website is officially on-line today. As of right now visitors of the website will have easier access to what they find interesting and relevant. Just a click on one of the three entry buttons takes the user directly to all the information. Spectacular images of cynora’s activities give the company website a distinctive look and feel.

Redesigned content and structure

The website’s new structure also means content is presented in a clearer, more accessible way. Whether it’s finding out more about the story behind cynora, the technology behind organic electronics or the latest company news – a quick glance on the home page shows the user where to start exploring the world of research and development of cynora. Intuitive and straightforward navigation on each page guides the user quickly and effortlessly to the desired content and subpages.

Visual kick – “Picture of the Month”

The website will also feature unusual and astounding images to document the work of cynora, such as surprising impressions from lab experiments with organic semiconductors. cynora will be refreshing the imagery on the site every month under the “Picture of the Month” section. Here, users can marvel at the brightly colored, shimmering crystals of a cynora emitter substance, or at organic semiconductor materials that shine under a black light the same way as in the finished OLED (organic light-emitting diode) components. Already today OLED technology is enabling the production of wide area light sources and brilliant displays for TV and smartphone applications. cynora’s work plays a critical role in driving innovation in this area.

Check out the redesigned website and find out more about cynora GmbH and the technology of tomorrow at www.cynora.com.

Founded in 2003, cynora GmbH came under new management in 2008. The company focuses on researching innovative organic semiconductors whose physical properties as white illuminants destine them for organic light-emitting diode (OLEDs) applications. From designing new functional modules for OLEDs and solar cells all the way to manufacturing these components in a lab environment and testing them for physical suitability with advanced measurement technology and methods, cynora covers the entire spectrum of material and component development.

Besides exploring new ways of achieving additional efficiency gains, the young and dynamic team behind cynora also works on improving key aspects of OLED applications, such as cost-effective processing and life-expectancy. Printing optoelectronic components requires new, intelligent materials and approaches. Resulting products can be used as displays, light sources, design objects and solar cells for energy generation. The team is supported by experienced consultants from the industry, business and science communities.
