The simplicity of 5 seating options completes the initial collection which is stocked in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. "We've been eyeing the soft seating category for quite some time from our Italian and Czech offices, but we wanted to be sure we manufacture the right product stateside with the quality production, performance, simplicity, and flexibility that the Hospitality, A&D, and Specialty Design Channels require," says David Di Meco. "Our goal was to create a soft collection that can incorporate casual, relaxed design, timeless tradition, and quality into a modern marriage and understatement of 'life' and 'style'. "Each piece can be used in full outdoor space, such as a patio, terrace, or deck, but also could be used indoor and can stand up to commercial traffic, pets and children. The collection's ease & flexibility fits well in desert states, as well as inner-city and coastal applications gaining several iconic hotels' attention and from Miami Beach to Los Angeles, Palm Springs, and Ibiza onto Mykonos and Milan. "We took a lot of time to develop the right durability and softness so we could also offer additional pieces and designs along the way in. THE DAVID DI MECO PRODUCT DESIGN STUDIO was set up in 1997 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida’s Marine Design District specializing in furniture, accessories, and folding chairs. In 1998, its Italian Offices along the Adriatic were opened, and then in 2002, an additional studio was added in the popular Veneto Northern Italian furniture region. In 2008, David Di Meco established an international intern program at several design schools to allow students to gain access to real-life design needs, clients, and world markets.
