Rainier Valley Food Bank Partners with Zeacon to Host Their Community Harvest Gala "Grow with Us Virtually"

The Rainier Valley Food Bank (RVFB) announced that its Community Harvest Gala “Grow with us Virtually” will be livestreamed from 6pm onwards on Saturday, November 14th, 2020. Tickets for the virtual event, which is being powered by interactive livestream technology company Zeacon, is on sale now and all proceeds will go directly to RVFB to support and feed local communities.

Founded in 1991 as a volunteer-led neighborhood pantry, RVFB is currently the busiest food bank in Seattle out of 26 area food banks. Operating from its tiny 1,200-square foot facility, the food bank fulfills over 6,000 requests for food monthly. RVFB’s November 14th fundraiser features an interactive, livestreamed cooking class with renowned chef and owner of the Jerk Shack, Trey Lamont, who will share how to prepare his famous Rasta Pasta Caribbean dish. We will also have a live band, an exciting auction, and more – all delivered virtually to the safety and comfort of your home.
