Accentec Technologies uses German made infrared camera technology with precision software in combination with touch screen tablet terminals to provide touchless temperature screening solutions for businesses, schools, healthcare facilities, and other locations. The technology can screen individuals from 3 feet away, at a speed of 1 second per person, and is highly accurate.
Body temperature screening can provide early detection of fever and infection. “This is critical for diseases like COVID-19, where people can be contagious several days before showing any symptoms at all,” said Volkmar Kunerth, CEO of Accentec Technologies. Although thermal screening technology cannot diagnose COVID-19 and other infections, the elevated skin temperature test is a safe and efficient primary tool to quickly screen large numbers of people. For many institutions that rely on temperature screening as an early indicator, the individual screening of staff or the general public is the crucial first step, where results of the temperature measurement are available almost in real time.
Accentec Technologies Tauri series of temperature scanning tablets come with a variety of features and sizes to fit different applications and needs. The 7 inch screen is for outdoor use with IP65 Front Glass WaterProof technology and dual camera, and can be combined with access control systems. Results of the measurements are generated within 1 second.
“The temperature screening tablets come in 7 inch, 10 inch, 15 inch and 21 inch sizes which is a unique feature in the market,” said Volkmar Kunerth.
