Constantly working to adapt to economic and professional trends, Stevens-Henager College has added a new specialization to its curriculum: the Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with Technology Emphasis. The specialization within the Business Degree is designed to help meet the market’s current occupational demands by producing professionals who have a thorough understanding of organizational management and operations, as well as the technological expertise to help their companies achieve success in today’s global, IT-powered marketplace.

The Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with Technology Emphasis not only covers key business competencies such as management, administration, human resource management, economics, entrepreneurship, marketing, investment principles, business law, and more, but also is intended to help students increase their IT expertise through courses such as Computer Technology Administration, Network Systems Administration, Web Site Management, Managing Emerging Technology Trends, Internet Commerce, Programming, and Database Reporting. To ensure that students receive a well-rounded education, the curriculum also includes classes on psychology, interpersonal communication, critical thinking, sociology, and statistics.

To help make graduates a vital and indispensable asset to an organization, the program is designed to help give students the ability to protect sensitive data that is stored and communicated via information technology, the knowledge to design automated, efficient business models that save resources, man-power and time, and the ability to implement them into new and existing business strategies and projects.

The Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with Technology Emphasis can be pursued online or at eight of the Stevens-Henager campuses in Idaho and Utah that offer the degree. The duration of the program is 36 months, but with Stevens-Henager’s FastFlex option, it could be completed in as little as 30 months. Criteria for admission include a high school diploma or its equivalent GED® credential.
