Arrowhead Grill is marking its third anniversary by giving back – donating to local schools and St. Mary’s Food Bank while offering social-media based specials to its patrons, with one lucky couple winning a private dinner prepared by Chef Charles Wade Schwerd.

Glendale, AZ, August 19, 2011 -- Arrowhead Grill is marking its third anniversary by giving back – donating to local schools and St. Mary’s Food Bank while offering social-media based specials to its patrons, with one lucky couple winning a private dinner prepared by Chef Charles Wade Schwerd.

Schwerd’s steakhouse, widely regarded as the best in the west Valley, opened its doors to rave reviews in August 2008. To mark the anniversary, each week Arrowhead Grill will launch a special promotion, culminating in the private dinner with Schwerd.

“We’ve made it to our third anniversary and want to share with the community,” said Chef Charles Wade Schwerd, owner of Arrowhead Grill. “Giving back to local schools, a great charity like St. Mary’s Food Bank and our customers feels like the right way to celebrate.”

The promotions kick off August 1, when Arrowhead Grill will offer its customers a Facebook Places deal for one week just for checking in with their smart phone. The deal, an Anniversary Delmonico steak for $28.99, has an additional benefit as well. For each check-in, Arrowhead Grill will donate $3 to St. Mary’s Food Bank.

For the week of August 8, Arrowhead Grill is going back to school with local kids, sponsoring a different Peoria and Glendale school from August 8-11 and donating $3 for every Anniversary Delmonico purchased. To make the week fun for the whole family, elementary school kids will eat free with their parents, with free hamburgers or popcorn shrimp for each child.

For the third week of deals, each patron who comments on a daily Facebook post at www.facebook.com/arrowheadgrill will be entered into a daily drawing for a $30 gift card. Plus, $3 from each Anniversary Delmonico purchased that week will be donated to St. Mary’s Food Bank.

Finally, Arrowhead Grill will close out the month with a weeklong charitable drive for St. Mary’s Food Bank. In addition to each Anniversary Delmonico purchased resulting in a $3 donation to the local food bank, the highest cash contribution donated to St. Mary’s Food Bank from August 22-31 will win the donor a private dinner prepared by Schwerd.
