CELEBRITY AUCTIONEER CHARLES HANSON GOES LIVE WITH BIDPATH BEST IN CLASS TECHNOLOGY

UK – Leading celebrity auctioneer and owner of Hansons Auctioneers, Charles Hanson, has launched his new live bidding service for bidders. After three trial auctions on the platform, empowered by Bidpath’s online bidding technology, Charles Hanson and his team have been delighted with the results.

Hansons Auctioneers operate from three bidding locations in Derbyshire, Staffordshire and London, including the recently acquired, and exceptionally impressive, Bishton Hall. The fast-growing auction house hold an impressive calendar of more than 100 auctions per annum across 20 departments covering all areas of Fine Art, Antiques and Collectables. Bishton Hall was built by John Sparrow, a banker, in the late eighteenth century. It was in use for more than 70 years as St. Bede’s Preparatory and Nursery School until the school was forced to close in August last year.

Their first live Fine Art auction was held on Monday 12th August in London and was followed by two live auctions in Derbyshire held on Thursday 22nd and Tuesday 27th August, selling Sporting Memorabilia and Historica and Metal Detecting discoveries respectively. By the final live auction almost half of all online lots by volume were sold through their in-house platform, Hansonslive.
