Best-selling book, The Sibley Guide to Birds

New England Forestry Foundation is pleased to present “Birds and New England Forests” with national best-selling author, David Allen Sibley. The event will take place at the Boston Public Library on May 11, 2011 at 6pm. The presentation will feature the diverse bird species that reside in New England forests, as well as bird species in decline, their habitat, and their critical need for young forest, shrubland, and grassland.

A local author from Concord, Massachusetts, David Allen Sibley is known for his colorful and comprehensive field guides. The Sibley Guide to Birds and The Sibley Guide to Trees are among his best-selling books. A book sale and signings will be available from the author, as well.
