Norton Scientific Continues Expansion into US Market

(Thorold) - In accordance with their sales growth strategy for North America, Brian Webb, President of Norton Scientific, is pleased to announce the company has concluded two sales representation deals with experienced professionals covering key customer clusters in New England and the Mid West. These latest agreements extend sales coverage to include the main biotechnology clusters along the North Eastern seaboard of the US, including the world’s largest concentration of research organisations centred in the Greater Boston Area, as well key emerging clusters in the Mid West.

“In less than 4 months,” adds Webb, “the Norton sales network in the US has expanded to cover more than 50% of the potential customer base for its products & services.” This latest expansion also gives the company indirect access to the R&D networks of the main bio-pharmaceutical manufacturers around the world, centred as they are in Boston.

With the momentum established at the recent PITTCON Convention in Atlanta, Georgia, and continuing, providing a major boost in product interest, Norton is adding to the quality pool of strategic sales partners interested in working with the company in other key regions of North America and Asia.

Based in the Niagara Region of Canada, Norton Scientific was established in 2010 to take the knowledge and experience of the founders dating back two decades in the analysis of complex macromolecular and nano-particulate materials and to design innovative measurement tools for use by bench scientists working in modern research facilities.

Initial target markets for Norton are the important biochemical applications of protein aggregate screening and the kinetics of protein-protein interactions. Future developments will broaden this base to include applications in biopharmaceutical research, drug delivery, wound healing, advanced materials, food safety, brewing and viticulture, bio-materials, and in-water pollution monitoring.
