Sayles Werbner Continues Firm Support for Dallas Bar Association

Noted Dallas attorney Barry Sorrels will be inaugurated as DBA President during the black-tie ceremony taking place at the Westin Galleria in Dallas. Mr. Sorrels, one of the leading white-collar criminal defense attorneys in the U.S., has been active in various DBA leadership roles for years.
Founded in 1873, the DBA is one of the oldest local bar associations in Texas. With more than 10,000 voluntary members, the DBA is dedicated to the continuing education of its members as well as public service programs and improvement of the administration of justice.
Sayles Werbner and firm founders Richard Sayles and Mark Werbner, both longtime DBA members and supporters, are sponsoring the popular “Casino Party” charity activities following the inaugural dinner. Mr. Werbner and Mr. Sorrels are 1978 graduates of the Southern Methodist University School of Law.
“Our firm is proud to support the efforts of the Dallas Bar Association and incoming President Barry Sorrels, my close friend of many years,” says Mr. Werbner. “Local bar associations play a vital role in the community, and there’s no doubt that Barry will lead the Dallas Bar to even greater accomplishments.”

Mr. Werbner and Mr. Sayles both previously were honored as the TEX-ABOTA “Trial Lawyer of the Year,” with Mr. Sayles earning the honor in 2010.
