Company Raised Funding to Increase Breast Cancer Awareness and Support Research

Dealtaker.com raised $6,642.80 to fight breast cancer this October. For every purchase made using a DealTaker.com coupon or deal during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, October 2010, DealTaker.com donated 10 cents to the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade to support research and advance access to care.

DealTaker.com also highlighted merchants and retailers that supported Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the DealTaker.com community posted personal stories about how they have been affected by breast cancer. The DealTaker.com site was launched when the original founder’s wife was diagnosed and began treatment for breast cancer.
