Diagramics Software Corporation, a Canadian provider of real-time Internet-of-Things (IoT) data visualization solutions, today announced initial availability of its “Diagramics Interactive Media Player” hardware devices for evaluation and pre-order from the Diagramics web site and from the Microsoft Azure Certified for IoT device catalog.

The Diagramics Interactive Media Player is a mini-computer device that provides the ability to turn any computer display or TV screen into an interactive animated dashboard, digital media player or digital signage. The devices are powered by Diagramics Visual Automation software that runs on the top of customized Windows 10 IoT operating system. All devices are pre-configured to work with Azure cloud and are Microsoft Azure Certified for IoT.

With the availability of Diagramics Interactive Media Players, customers can build and operate affordable Operations Control Centers for real-time monitoring of their respective IoT businesses.

Diagramics interactive visualization technology enables the exploration of data via the manipulation of chart images, with the color, brightness, size, shape and motion of visual objects, that go beyond those of pie, bar and line charts, and provides contextual visualization of IoT digital twins in form of animated interactive dashboards, diagrams, floor plans and maps.
Diagramics cloud technology enables integration with various IoT and IT data sources, CRM, ERP, SaaS and LOB applications and distribute pre-generated graphical information to the Interactive Media Player devices via secure visual channels.

Diagramics Interactive Media Player devices come with pre-installed visualization software, auto-registration with an Azure IoT Hub and out-of-the-box integrated with Azure IoT Suite & IoT Central pre-configured solutions and SaaS services - Simulated Devices, Connected Factory, Remote Monitoring, Azure Digital Twins, Dynamics 365 Field Service.

This announcement is the first step in the company's plan to introduce a number of affordable mini-computer and SoC devices for real-time IoT data visualization, including NPX i.MX8 devices. Today, however, these devices are all run on Intel hardware - Intel Compute Card, Intel Compute Stick, Intel NUC mini-computers, and Industrial IoT ready rugged mini-PCs.
