Christmas attraction in Umbria "Presepe vivente" the living nativity scene
The Living Nativity Scene in Passignano, a travel back in time
Every year they transform their town into a realisticly built copy of a small town of the Palestina during the Roman rule.
The stage to show the life at those times are the narrow streets and places of the old town centre. The "Presepe vivente" in Passignano is said to be the very best of its kind and attracts tourists from all over the world.
