Actor-Writer-Producer Cal Barnes and Director-Producer Kevin Van Stevenson Announce the Co-Production of Infinite Limits

LOS ANGELES, CA - October 25th, 2023 - Nineteen Films and Goreella Media are proud to announce the co-production of Infinite Limits, a neo-noir crime thriller written by and starring Cal Barnes (The Astrid Experience, Unfriended, Krispr), and directed by Kevin Van Stevenson (The Party, Baby Girl, On the Brain).

Infinite Limits follows the life of Collin Whitney (Cal Barnes), a highly intelligent, hot-shot detective with a haunted past, who's hunting a serial killer that's leaving a trail of paradoxical clues in his wake. When it becomes clear to Collin that he's not hunting an ordinary killer, he enlists the help of young philosophy prodigy, Aylee Martin (Casting TBD), to try and gain an advantage against the killer's maniacal mind.

Actor-Writer-Producer Cal Barnes, and Director-Producer Kevin Van Stevenson are the current creative force behind Infinite Limits. They met on the 2023 festival circuit, where Cal was touring with his feature, The Astrid Experience, and Kevin was touring with his film, The Party, that had been winning awards all throughout Los Angeles and beyond. After sharing a love for neo-noir crime thriller and detective films, they decided to team up to produce Cal's next script that was ready to go, with Cal starring in his dream detective role, and Kevin helming a dream neo-noir project.

With an estimated production budget of $3.2 million, Barnes and Stevenson will be taking the project to AFM this year to secure financing. Joining the production team are producer Scott Weil, casting director Jennifer Layton, and editor Edgar Sardarian to name a few. Additional cast attachments will be announced in the upcoming months.
