Rev. John Booko is an American-born whose Assyrian parents were born in northern Iraq before they moved to the United States. Rev. John served in World War II in the United States Navy from Feb. 1943 to Dec. 1945. He holds a Bachelor of Theology degree and is an ordained Baptist minister. Rev. John Booko is the founder of Riverside Church, an interdenominational church, where he serves the Lord with his son, Paul, who is the senior pastor.
