AMCI develops plug-in modules for Allen-Bradley PLCs for over 2 decades

Terryville, CT – For over 20 years, Advanced Micro Controls Inc. (AMCI) has developed plug-in modules using Rockwell Automation Enabled™ technologies to ensure 100% compatibility with Allen-Bradley PLCs and PACs. The company provides a variety of plug-in solutions including Position Sensor Interfaces, Motion Controllers, and Packaging & Press Automation. Because the modules are 100% compatible with Allen-Bradley PLCs, users can be confident that AMCI plug-in solutions will work for their application.

AMCI proudly designs and manufactures their products in-house, enabling superior quality and innovative solutions. Their specialty I/O modules can be easily programmed using Rockwell Automation RSLogix software, and are available for the following Allen-Bradley platforms: 1756 ControlLogix, 1769 CompactLogix, 1764 MicroLogix, 1762 MicroLogix, 1734 Point I/O, 1746 SLC-500, 1771 PLC-5.

Position Sensor Interfaces
AMCI position sensor interfaces satisfy a variety of applications requiring rotary, linear, and laser distance measurement. The plug-in modules simplify set-up and programming, and are 100% compatible with Allen-Bradley PLCs and PACs. Sample programs and Add On Profiles (AOP) make system configuration a breeze.

Motion Controllers
AMCI is the only Rockwell Automation Encompass partner that offers a complete selection of motion control products. Compatible with stepper or servo drives, these plug-in modules can control 1, 2, or 4 axes of motion, and provide independent or coordinated motion control. Adding motion control to an Allen Bradley control system has never been easier thanks to AMCI’s stepper/servo controllers.

Packaging & Press Automation
AMCI offers plug-in modules that are specially designed for Packaging and Metal Forming applications. These automation modules increase manufacturing throughput, add control system flexibility, and save money. The key functions within this product family include high-speed programmable limit switch outputs, brake monitoring, die protection, and top-stop control.
