Press release from: Atomic Design

June 28, 2010 - ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Atomic Design, an integrated web development company has generously donated $10,000 to help support the Seneca Park Zoo (senecaparkzoo.org). Featured in the Seneca Zoo’s quarterly publication entitled the “Zoonooz”, Atomic Design sits at the top of the “Polar Bear Level” sponsorship with corporations such as McDonald’s, M&T Bank, The Dolomite Group, and Wal-Mart. Proceeds will contribute towards the ongoing operations and continuous improvement of the zoo.

The donation enabled the creation of an award winning community web site, which was awarded with the gold medal as the best overall website, as well as an award for the best website in the “community” category in the Rochester Business Journal’s “Best of the Web” awards earlier this year. The award was based on design and functionality, as well as the likelihood of repeat visits.

“We felt that the Seneca Park Zoo was a wonderful organization, and were excited to have the opportunity to help. We are proud of the new site, and not only does it help the Zoo interface with visitors, but it also better services the visitors themselves. We appreciate what they do and their position in the community as a leading attraction…that and my family loves visiting!” stated Atomic Design’s President Chris Hanna.
