(openPR) - SatPro's SureLinx™ 8100 is a dependable, fully-integrated D+/GPRS wireless controller. It sets the standard for reliable asset tracking and management systems at a low overall total cost. The SureLinx™ 8100 ensures that your applications are delivered with lowest cost message routing using GPRS when your assets are in cellular coverage, automatically switching to SatPro D+ satellite service where necessary, maintaining a critical life-line link to your assets. Assets moving anywhere in the world are visible and reachable at all times by your business operations.
The SureLinx™ 8100 is a compact device with quad-band GPRS and SatPro D+ satellite transceivers, GPS, discrete input/output feeds and a programmable controller. For special needs messages can be adjusted after time, distance, geocoding or all possible other parameters. A common controller for GPRS and D+ provides for uniform programmings.
Trucks and container continuously move over national borders back and forth and leave thereby the GSM range, ships reach ports often and leave these again toward the ocean. All the same where these are, the global SureLinx™ 8100 network informs at any time.
Through its GSM coverage high numbers of messages can easily be send, but leaving this coverage the system automatic switches to the satellite network only sending out messages defined as critical by the systems owner.
