(openPR) - Dallas, TX – January 5, 2009 - ZeitEnergy announced today that we are launching a bold public policy and private industry campaign designed to provide local solutions to implementing CNG fueling stations.
The objective of this campaign – CNG CONNECT – is to move the current debate on CNG Fueling from the “Plan”ing stage to implementation by moving the focus from Washington DC to Main Street. We agree with the philosophy of Boone Pickens and Aubrey McClendon that NOW is the time for the US to move from gasoline to natural gas. CNG CONNECT is about working directly with local companies and municipalities to create public-private partnerships, which accelerate the adoption of CNG as a municipal and corporate fueling option and create the future infrastructure for private consumers.
How CNG CONNECT works:
CNG CONNECT is a place for companies and municipalities to indicate their interest in partnering in a CNG fueling station. Historically, CNG fuel stations have been financially prohibitive for all but the heaviest users. We reduce the cost by allow multiple users to share each station similar to the way private jets are shared and financed. Additionally, stations become more economical and fuel faster as their volume increases so adding more users improves the fueling experience of each.
ZeitEnergy was created to help municipalities and private fleet owners gather information and make decisions about whether or not compressed natural gas powered vehicles are right for their organization. We target all sizes of municipal and private fleet customers who are looking for information and solutions that are not biased towards specific vendors. We offer a potent combination of technical expertise in the natural gas fueling business and financial expertise in capital budgeting and cost benefit analysis.
