(openPR) - During this year’s SYSTEMS, the CONTENS Software GmbH is presenting the cooperation of the corresponding content management system CONTENS, with the ECM-system windream (hall A2 / stand 222).
Due to the combination of these two systems, editors can access the windream content directly through the CONTENS interface, and also make this content available in the company inter- or intranet. Employees, clients, and partners now have central access to all company-relevant documents. The new CONTENS release itself features a translation center, an improved AutoImage function, an extended editor, greater flexibility during the client maintenance, as well as additional functions within the object library.
The SYSTEMS trade show, the professional business-to-business trade show for the ITC market will take place from October 21 until 24, in the Munich exhibition center.
With the content management products from CONTENS, users can efficiently manage structured and unstructured data via a uniform browser interface. The product offers editors and administrators a multitude of functions for the quick design and efficient operation of their online projects. Through an open interface, external content and application can be integrated free of any complications. Out of the new-entry window in CONTENS, the windream web portal is opened where documents and indexes can be selected with the help of the provided search functions. All processing options of the windream interface are available for the user, and the linked documents can be opened in the corresponding application. Alternatively, the in windream designed HTML-preview of a document can also be displayed if not all necessary applications are supposed to be installed on the PC.
The content in the indexes are listed in a separate window so that the surrounding internet/intranet navigation remains completely visible. Through this new gateway with windream, editors can access content that is stored in the ECM system and make this data available in the internet or intranet. Therefore, the most current version of the documents is continually available company-wide via the internet or intranet.
Aside from this gateway with windream, CONTENS is presenting still more new innovations: The new translation center for structured translation processes, an improved AutoImage, spell check within an extended editor and an extended PDF-generator. Greater flexibility during client maintenance, as well as extended functions in the object library complete the full performance capacity.
