(openPR) - As the credit crunch bites BuyYourCar is offering private car sellers free advertising for all cars uploaded to the site in September & October.
With the credit crunch forcing a growing number of British drivers to sell up and buy more economical cars, the UK’s fastest growing independent car sales website, BuyYourCar, is offering private sellers the opportunity to place an advert on their site free of charge if they place their advert before 31 October 2008.
The usual £10 fee has been waived, allowing customers to advertise their car to over 20,000 car buyers who visit the website every day. The advert is displayed until the car is sold and customers can upload up to 10 images of their car for no added charge.
Marketing manager of BuyYourCar, Daniel Phillips says: “The credit crunch is affecting all of us and a growing number of people are choosing to change their cars for more economical models. The problem is that when it comes to selling a car privately, the cost of advertising can be excessive - even for a limited period.
“Our aim is to provide private sellers with a cost-efficient and highly effective alternative, where cars can be promoted to thousands of potential buyers across the country without any time limits. The normal £10 fee for private car sales is already far less than other options, but for those who place an advert during September and October we are offering free advertising to help sellers promote their car to a fast-growing audience.”
Uploading an advert is easy through the BuyYourCar website and sellers can login at any time to make changes or additions, without incurring any additional costs.
BuyYourCar also features car reviews, as well as information on loans and insurance, enabling customers to compare cars, prices and services in one place. It also features advice on buying and selling a car, and on how to avoid the common scams that unsuspecting car buyers and sellers can fall foul to if they aren’t aware.
