Continued Blueslice Next Generation HLR Deployment Enables

Elephant Talk sets itself apart as the global MVNE for carriers and MVNOs

Montreal, Canada & Amsterdam, The Netherlands- September 12, 2008: Blueslice Networks and Elephant Talk Communications, Inc. (OTCBB: ETAK), an international telecom and multimedia content distributor, announced today their long-term agreement for a global expansion. Already a Blueslice customer, Elephant Talk will be deploying additional next generation Home Location Registers from Blueslice, meeting their plans to expand their network globally. In order to become a true global player, Elephant Talk will interconnect with multiple carriers in multiple countries with real network infrastructure.

Where Elephant Talk differs from the first wave of wholesale operators is in its existing operations as an international long-distance provider, its current deployment of mobile core network, and its plan to interconnect globally. With this network in place, Elephant Talk will become a viable systems integrator for carriers and a global front-end for any companies wanting to offer mobility to their customers. Furthermore, the unique roaming solutions offered as part of ngHLR 3000™ will allow each of Elephant Talk’s subscribers to always be seen as local, instead of roaming, therefore significantly reducing the high roaming charges when travelling outside the country.

“Elephant Talk is building a viable international telecom operator, enabler, and systems integrator as well as a revolutionary company offering a global service,” said Stephan Ouaknine, Blueslice President and CEO. “We are very excited to be part of their continued growth and expansion.”

“Elephant Talk sees the importance of building infrastructure and becoming a network based international telecom operator,” commented Martin Zuurbier, CTO of Elephant Talk. “By using the most advanced equipment, including the Blueslice ngHLR 3000™, we are able to have one point to manage our entire global network.”

About Elephant Talk Communications (www.elephanttalk.com)
Elephant Talk Communications is positioning itself as an international telecom operator and enabler/systems integrator to the multimedia industry by facilitating the distribution of all forms of content as well as mobile and fixed telecom services to global telecommunications consumers. The Company provides traditional telecom services, media streaming, and distribution services primarily to the business-to-business (B2B) community within the telecommunications market where it has a presence. The Company’s global footprint as a fully licensed carrier, supported by its propriety IN (Intelligent Network) and Billing/CRM (Client Relationship Management) Systems, has been designed to offer cutting-edge solutions to the increasingly competitive global multimedia industry. Elephant Talk’s telecommunications platform eliminates the usual limitations caused by national borders, networks, devices or media and, therefore, enables its B2B customers to operate as independent telecom and multimedia distribution organizations. Elephant Talk is also a system integrator and developer for mobile telecom and content distribution solutions; and, as a Mobile Virtual Network Enabler (MVNE), the company has positioned itself as the premier outsourcing partner for both Mobile Network Operators (MNO’s) as well as for Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNO’s). At the same time, ETAK assists its MNO partners to more efficiently provide a broad range of sophisticated services to their own existing base of MVNO’s. ETAK is positioning itself as the preferred MVNE partner of the larger, global Mobile Operators and currently operates sophisticated networks in over a dozen markets in Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East.
