(openPR) - (LOS ANGELES, AUGUST 19TH 2008) - Primo Hospitality Group and Yancey Arias are pleased to announce their partnership in philanthropy. On Saturday, September 13th, Caffe Primo will host a star-studded Celebrity Poker Tournament to benefit the Primo Foundation, and Yancey Arias’ Lives to Save Foundation. Both organizations are 501(c) 3 non-profit funds.
The Primo Foundation is dedicated to serving the needs of sick and underprivileged children both in Los Angeles and Nationally. The Primo Foundation has selected Children’s Miracle Network and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles as the beneficiary for this year’s event.
Primo Hospitality Group partners Tony Riviera and Charlton E. Lui established the Primo Foundation as a way of contributing to Children’s causes by forming strategic partnerships with select local and national charitable organizations. The Primo Foundation supports these organizations through fundraising events and by donating food and resources to charities and families in need.
The Lives to Save Foundation is a Natural Disaster Relief fund whose goal is to supply food, equipment and temporary shelter to families devastated by a natural disaster.
Lives to Save celebrity Founder Yancey Arias is a community service worker affiliated with the OC Sheriffs Department as a Professional Service Reserve. He created this foundation with the help of his partner Jeff Wolman of Wolman Wealth Management. All contributions go to families in need, in the form of food and supplies, or even a house. Each family recipient has the opportunity to send a thank you and photograph on the web site which allows contributors to see the families who were given aid as a result of their generous donation, and also gives peace of mind that every penny donated truly does go to the people who need it most.
