Arizona State University tests have shown that a dose of vinegar before meals can reduce post-meal, blood-sugar spikes by a whopping 36%-81%. The best vinegar to use to aid weight loss is apple cider vinegar. Apple cider vinegar tends to contain more acetic acid. This ingredient makes vinegar so potent. However, any vinegar with 5% acetic acid should work just as well.
