(openPR) - Already, two months before IFAT CHINA 2008 opens its doors, there has been a considerable increase in the number of exhibitors taking part. The event takes place from 23 to 25 September 2008 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC).
So far a total of 274 companies from 20 countries have registered to take part in the 3rd International Trade Fair for Water, Sewage, Refuse, Recycling and Natural Energy Sources. That is over 60 more than at the same point ahead of the last IFAT CHINA in 2006. Five countries – Germany, Great Britain, Korea, Switzerland and Austria – will each have their own joint pavilion.
The trend in exhibitor numbers in the section on biogas is very positive. Overall 13 companies – five of them from Germany – are presenting their biogas products and services this year in Shanghai, on 255 square meters of exhibition space.
Being held in parallel with IFAT CHINA 2008 in Halls E4 and E5 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre is the fourth analytica China, International Trade Fair for Analysis, Biotechnology, Diagnostics, Laboratory Technology and Services.
Exhibitors and visitors to both fairs will benefit from this tandem arrangement and the opportunity it presents for knowledge transfer, particularly in the areas of instrumental analysis, laboratory technology and biotechnology, which are also key pillars in water and waste water treatment.
